It's no secret by now that Origins are one of my favourite skincare brands. I'm building up a pretty impressive stash of products and I haven't come across a single one that doesn't deliver the goods and do exactly what it says on the tin/bottle/tub.
GinZing Eye Cream is one of Origins more talked about products. A citrusy, 'zingy' cream that promises to awaken the eye area, de-puffing and brightening as it goes. Anything that makes my eye area look a little more alive immediately grabs my attention so I couldn't wait to give this a go! I pat a tiny amount of this under my eyes and along my brow bone every morning along with my normal moisturiser and wait for it to settle before applying makeup on top. This immediately makes my eye area look a little more toned and vibrant, perking up my dark circles at the same time. I'd be lying if I said that made eye bags/discolouration disappear completely as I don't think any eye cream out there is truly able to perform miracles, but I'm happy with the subtle difference this makes to the area as my eyes have always been one of my main skin concerns. My makeup sits really well on top of this as it doesn't leave a lot of residue; nor does it make my concealer oxidise or crease. Instead it provides the perfect canvas to allow smooth application of whatever products you choose to use.
I'm usually not a great ambassador for eye creams but I'd definitely recommend this if you're on the hunt for one. I've recently started to apply this at night time and I might actually prefer this method as it has more time to work its magic before I put my makeup on in the morning, but obviously it's completely up to you how you use it. Origins have just put their prices up by a couple of pounds each product (boo!) but for me it's still just about worth the mid-range price tag.
