A Classic Red Nail

When it comes to my nails a classic red polish is actually one of the hues I rock the least. Whilst there are plenty of rouge-toned pinks, oranges and corals in my collection I've been distinctly missing a proper pop of cherry; enter Sinful Colors 'GoGo Girl'.

I mentioned in a recent review post that my opinion on Sinful Colors polishes has drastically changed and I've actually been really enjoying trying out a few new shades. 'GoGo Girl' provides a bright punch of blue-based red on the nails and sits perfectly against my pale complexion - especially in the sunshine. It has no shimmer in it which is perfect for me, yet it still provides a wash of super glossy colour that's opaque enough for me in two coats, although three may work a little better on some people. The formula is fairly thin and watery, meaning that it's easy to build up the colour in thin coats and prevent any streaking; it also means that the polish does take a little longer to dry than I'd like, but for £1.99 you can't really complain! It's also the perfect shade for a summer pedicure - a 50's inspired true red.

Sinful Colors polishes are available to buy in some Boots stores, although they seem to be leaking out pretty slowly and you may need to resort to buying online if they haven't hit your local branch yet. What colours have you opted for this summer?
