In terms of discontinued products, Dior's 'Beige Massai' palette has to be one of the biggest shames to date. Consisting of 5 natural bronze shades that compliment each other beautifully, the palette that has so long been raved about by the likes of Lisa Eldridge vanished from Dior counters a little while ago now, but I figured I'd still pay homage to its beauty.
The palette itself is made up of five luxurious shadow shades and is by far my favourite of all Dior's '5 Couleurs' range. For me the colours are natural enough for everyday use but the bronze and copper undertones within the palette add and extra summin summin'. I tend to sweep the light coral shade across my entire lid before blending the lightest option into the inner corner of my eye. I then add definition by taking the deep coral shade into the crease of my lid before finishing off by lining the eye with the dark brown shade from the middle of the palette. As with all Dior shadows the formula and texture of these are flawless, easy to blend and the colours stay put on my lids all day eve without primer.
Rumour has it that this palette will be making a comeback in stores soon, but so far I haven't seen it confirmed. I really hope it does though, even if it's under a new name!
P.S - I'm selling a miniature Beige Massai palette over on my Depop account because now that I have a full size one I don't have any use for it (username: thunderl0ve). I'm more than willing to consider offers and swaps for beauty items and I'd definitely recommend getting an account even if you're not sure on what you'd like to buy/sell. It's a lovely community so come over and say hi!
