I know it seems so cliche to say this but I can't believe how quickly April has flown by! I thought I'd compile my monthly favourites as usual and stick in a few non-beauty favourites at the end too. I usually do this in video form but I haven't quite gotten around to it this time - I'm a poor youtuber I know!
No 7 Perfect & Protect Day Cream/Total Renewal Exfoliator - I've ever really used anything from this range before as I always assumed it was aimed at more mature skin only; however when I started getting exzema around my eyes and nose I was recommended this and I haven't looked back since. It's incredibly gentle on the skin and hydrates it like a dream.
Sachajuan SPF Mousse - I first purchased this way back in December and whilst I've always loved how it works as a mousse, only this month have I felt the benefits of the SPF included. I have blonde hair which needs a fair bit of protection in the sun and this keeps it looking soft, shiny and helps to prevent colour fading.
Superdrug Vitamin E Facial Oil - I love using facial oils and this has overtaken many more expensive options for me. I pat a small amount into my skin before bed and wake up with a fresh glow.
Liz Earle Signature Foundation - my go-to foundation over this past month, this matches my skin tone perfectly and provides medium coverage finish that still looks incredibly natural.
Essie 'Bikini So Teeny' & 'Lilacism' - Essie are my favourite brand when it comes to finding fresh, spring nail polishes. Both are pretty pastel shades that are ideal for the warmer months and I've loved wearing them recently.
17 Sheer Glow in 'Pink Bronze' - this dupe for Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick was a favourite last summer and has been dug out from the bottom of my collection this month. A soft powder, this provides a lovely subtle glow to my cheeks without being overly sparkly.
Revlon Colorstay Creme Blush in 'Coral Reef' - I've been making a break from my usual pink blush this month and have instead been getting lots of use out of this gem. I love creme blush and this looks gorgeous on; definitely not as bright as it looks in the pan!
Wall-E - I know this is a few years old now but my boyfriend persuaded me to watch it for the first time this month. I'm usually not a fan of animated films at all but it's so good! If you haven't seen it you MUST and if you have, just watch it again.
Ohjibu - I've been listening to this band so much this month and have fallen ever-so-slightly in love. I'd recommend listening to 'Thunderlove' and 'Niagra' if you haven't already; beautiful music and beautiful lyrics to boot!
Favourite AppPicShop Lite - I'm massively stingey so I've only got the lite version of this, but if you're after a good (free) photo editing app for your iPad then I couldn't recommend this enough. It's taken me ages to find a good one that does everything I want it to and is simple to use but this ticks all the boxes!
