The Music Edit #2

I can't believe how long it's been since my last music post - it's something I love writing about and they're some of my favourite posts to create because I always find some amazing little gems in the process. I thought I'd just give you a little overview of some of the music I've enjoyed listening to over the past few weeks - hope you enjoy!

Nimmo & The Gauntletts - Change
This Brighton-based band have been on my radar for a little while now but I'm so impressed with how far they've recently come. 'Change' is an amazingly catchy song by a band hailed as the next big thing and with fans like Agyness Deyn who am I to disagree? She even directed the amazing video which definitely earns the band extra brownie points from me!

Laura Mvula - Green Garden
I listened to this the whole way back to my house a few weeks ago and I'm still not bored of it. Such a beautiful woman with an amazing voice and a perfect summer song (if we ever get a summer, that is...) Even so I really do love this despite not being that much of a fan of some of the other stuff I've heard from her, it's just so uplifting that it's impossible not to like it!

Palma Violets - Best of Friends
Calum & I recently went to see Palma Violets in Norwich and I fell even more in love with them than I was already. If you ever get the chance to see them live I 100% recommend it as they really are amazing.
