Towards the end of last year I wrote a post about Essie's new season collection 'Madison Ave-Hue' (find that here) so I figured it was only fair to also include my opinions on the new shades by my other favourite nail polish brand, OPI. The collection entitled 'Euro Centrale' takes inspiration from the countries of Poland, Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic and OPI have once again come up with some of the cutest nail varnish names imaginable, including 'Can't Find My Czechbook', 'Suzi's Hungary AGAIN!' and 'You're Such A Budapest'.
I do feel quite excited by this collection, although some of the shades haven't really caught my eye as much as others. The two in the top left are my absolute favourites, with the nude shade 'My Vampire is Buff' and the pretty pink 'Suzi's Hungary AGAIN!' really appealing to me as something new that I've not really seen before. The shimmer shades and navy blues leave me feeling a little bit 'meh' as neither are particularly to my taste and I feel like I've seen them a thousand times before. The turquoise 'Can't Find My Czechbook' is one I can definitely imagine becoming a summer staple, as is the vibrant red 'My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours!', although it does definitely bear resemblance to lots of other shades already on the market.
'Polka.com' is obviously a winner for me however. With large chunks of glitter in a gorgeous range of blues, pinks and purples I can see it quickly being added to my collection of glitter polishes. Overall I'd say around half of these appeal to me as potential buys, whereas there are definitely a few shades that seem a little samey to me. The collection is due to hit shelves at the beginning of February so if you are tempted by any of them you haven't got too long to wait!
