How Much Does Your Face Cost: Make Up Edition

This tag has been floating around on the blogosphere for what seems like forever and I'm always really amazed by people's results and was keen to find out my own. To be honest, I try to very rarely pay the full RRP for products I buy. Most of you will know by now that I'm a huge eBay addict and I do love a good sale; even if it's snapping up products that have been discontinued by premium brands. I picked a selection of make up that I would use on an everyday basis and calculated them using the product's full price as I can't really remember what I bought most of them for now anyway!

If I'm honest it's not the cost of my make up routine that surprises me the most; it's more just the sheer amount of it. The fact that I sit there and apply 7 different products to my face before even beginning anything else is something I hadn't really considered until I sat here and wrote it down; that's not even including all of the steps in my morning skincare routine! The price is kind of what I was expecting, not excellent but not too bad I don't think. I use a fairly balanced mix of high end and high street make up and only tend to splurge on things like foundation that I feel need to be splurged on. Maybe I should consider cutting down on how much concealer I use, though!
