Seasonal Nail Polish Picks For Every Budget

NARS Nail Polish (£15.00/15ml)

Shown: NARSxPIERREHARDY, 'Sharks Left' and 'Sharks Right'

The NARSxPIERREHARDY collection remains to be one of my favourites - especially the nail polishes. NARS aren't a brand that I'd immediately associate with nails, but the formula is probably one of the best that I've used from a high end brand. 'Sharks Right' is a soft, blue based purple that I've been getting an awful lot of wear from recently.

Illamasqua Nail Varnish (£14.50/15ml)

Shown: 'DWS'

I'm still into grey nails and 'DWS' is my most worn of them all. It's the perfect concrete shade, with just a hint of blue that prevents the colour from being too flat. I don't have a lot of experience with Illamasqua polishes, but it's fair to say that I'm really impressed with the formula of this one.

Essie Nail Polish (£7.99/13.5ml)

Shown: 'Chinchilly'

The shade selection of Essie nail polishes is unbeatable, particularly when it comes to classic reds and neutrals. The longevity can be a little hit and miss but the vast majority of the shades in my collection really do stand the test of time, Chinchilly being one of them. It's a subtle, brown-based grey that looks perfectly understated.

KIKO Nail Lacquer (£3.90/11ml)

Shown: 'Caribbean Green' and 'Nude'

If you're on a tighter budget, KIKO nail polishes come highly recommended. With a vast selection of shades and one of the best formulas on the high street, they're one of the most worn brands in my collection. 'Caribbean Green' is one of the few metallic colours to ever win my heart and the aptly named 'Nude' is probably my most treasured nude of all time.
