Inside My Current Makeup Bag

Talking beauty is one of my favourite past times, but it's rare that I actually delve into my makeup bag and discuss what I've been wearing on my face recently, day in, day out.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

Bored of hearing about NARS Sheer Glow yet? Me too. It's well worth the rave reviews though, offering flawless, comfortable coverage that lasts all day on the skin. I apply with a damp beauty blender in order to achieve a slightly fresher, dewier finish.

NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer

I'm still not sure what I think of this concealer. I'm actually pretty much at the end of the tube now and the only reaction I can give is 'meh'. Still, it's one that I've been reaching for a lot lately, purely because I'm desperate to reach the end. I'm still obsessed with the Amazing Concealer from Amazing Cosmetics and I actually can't wait to finish this just so I can go back to using that one daily.

Topshop Glow Highlighter in 'Polished'

I've had a love/hate relationship with highlighter for as long as I can remember. Right now we're definitely on good terms and I've been slathering my face in the creamy Topshop Glow pot almost every morning. Perhaps it's the lingering sense that Spring is on its way, but for some reason I'm all about glowing, radiant skin at the moment and this offers the most natural looking highlight that I've found.

MAC Paint Pot in 'Groundwork'

When it comes to eye products that work for everyday wear, Groundwork continues to be my first choice. It's the perfect mid brown shade and looks great when taken across the entire lid before being lightly smudged into the lower lashline.

Make Up For Ever Extravagant Smoky Lash Mascara

For a non-waterproof mascara, Extravagant Smoky gets a huge seal of approval from me. It hasn't reached cult status purely because of the formula, but if they ever do bring out a waterproof version I'm sure to be all over it. Even so, it's continued to be one of my most-worn mascara formulas over the past couple of weeks, offering jet-black volume and definition in one.

EDIT: Debenhams now stock the waterproof version. BRB.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 'Sex Machine'

A wearable, comfortable matte pink. What more could you ask for? While Sex Machine does have a noticeable shimmer to it inside the crayon, it's not something that I've ever found to be detectable on the lips and it's incredibly handy to reapply on the go.
