Christmas feels like it's snuck up out of nowhere this year. For weeks I've been putting off preparations, only to find myself frantically running around at the last moment trying to finish everything on time. Old habits die hard.
This year I'm spending Christmas with the people I love most - and I honestly couldn't be happier. Last years Christmas post, It's Okay Not To Be Okay (Even At Christmas Time), was written at the end of one of the most difficult years of my life; and shortly before the beginning of another. Over the past few months things have started to come together again little by little. It goes to show how much of a difference a year can make and how important it is to keep trudging through all the bad stuff to get to the good. Feeling crap at this time of year is something that I found particularly difficult, but it will pass. It always does.
I hope you all have the most wonderful Christmas no matter where you are or what you're doing. This little page of the internet has given me so much joy over the past twelve months and I can't wait to see what the next twelve bring.
P.S I've put together a miniature mixtape of some of alternative Christmas favourites - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
