A good moisturiser can be hard to find; particularly when your skin is as difficult to predict as mine. Over the years I've come to realise that I have to be really careful when it comes to choosing which products and ingredients to slather across my face morning and night, which makes finding a moisturiser that hydrates, nourishes and doesn't irritate my skin seem like a pretty mammoth task. I've been using the Estelle & Thild Fragrance Free Night Cream for a fair few months now and am pleased to report that I really haven't felt the need to try anything else in that time; in fact it's one of the very few moisturisers that I've purchased more than once.
Although this is branded as a night cream I do tend to use it in the mornings, too. Estelle & Thild offer do a day cream option within the same range, but admittedly I don't really see the point in buying both. Aside from being a little thicker than traditional moisturisers I can't see any reason why this should be saved for the evenings. Including aloe vera, vanilla and almond oil, this manages to hydrate my skin without leaving any kind of residue behind. Within minutes it's completely settled in and evened out any dry patches of skin without altering the careful balance and making oilier areas more prominent. It feels fresh, soothing and after months of use hasn't had a single negative effect on my skin. Not one. Nada. Touch wood.
