Yep, Nutella cookies. Can I hear an amen?
Recipes are hard to come by on this blog, mainly because while I adore cooking, presentation isn't my forte and I just can't seem get things looking nice enough to photograph. This is by far the easiest recipe in my collection though and it's kind of impossible to get them looking anything less than mouthwatering. With hardly any ingredients and a preparation time of approximately 45 seconds, they really are the bomb. This recipe isn't entirely my own (I can't be the only one googling 'nutella recipes' at 11pm on a Thursday evening, right?) but it's too good not to share.
You will need:
- 70g plain flour
- 1 large egg
- 275g of the good stuff (nutella... ahem)
That's it. Really. It's completely up to you what you add to the basic mixture; I used a bag of Milkybar Buttons because I'm 4 years old, but you can pop in whatever you like or leave it at that - they taste damn good anyway. I popped mine in the oven for around 12 minutes (Gas Mark 5, ~retro~) but I'd recommend just keeping an eye on them until they start to crisp up around the edges. Best served still molten and gooey in the middle, they're the perfect treat for fellow nutella addicts and go fabulously with a mug of nutella hot chocolate (a tablespoonful of nutella melted in a pan with a mugful of milk, FYI).
