A Third Outfit Post

Outfit posts are still definitely not in my comfort zone; in fact I'm still not entirely sure how to pose or take photos for them. Either way, they're something I enjoy doing so that's good enough reason to carry on, right? As per normal, my look is entirely about comfort and function over style and it's something that I would (and do) wear on an everyday, casual basis.

My coat is from Topshop; it really was love at first sight and I'm so glad I managed to pick up the last one in my local store. It's the perfect balance between smart and casual and adds a little somethin' somethin' to any outfit - the camel colour is right up my street, too. I often struggle to find a winter coat that I like so hopefully this will last me through the colder months without a problem. My top is a plain black tee from Topshop. I seem to be living in this kind of thing at the moment; simple and basic is definitely the way forward in my wardrobe and I love how easy pieces like this are to switch up when styled with different jewellery and accessories. My jeans are Topshop too (can you spot a theme???), although I did hack away at the bottom hems myself. Being 5ft1 I find it near on impossible to find jeans that fit, so I did a little bit of DIY on these and I don't think they turned out too shabby - the ripped hems make them a little different to everything else in my wardrobe and have made them the perfect summer jeans when paired with my beloved Birkenstocks.

My trainers are the Nike Woven Rosherun 2.0's; I uhhmed and ahhed over these for the longest time and finally gave in, although I'm still not entirely sure what I think of them. They're far comfier than my original Roshe Runs though and I do love that they're all black, so for now I'm happy to give them a whirl. Lastly is my bag from Zara, a summer sale find that I haven't put down since I bought it. Is it a tote? Is it a backpack? Who knows; but it's really, really pretty.
