What I Wore in August

Blue jeans and white shirts have been a staple for me this month; in fact I've rarely been seen in anything else. These Whistles jeans are my absolute favourites both in terms of comfort and style. I actually picked mine up on sale so my debit card didn't take quite as much of a hit, but even full price I'd highly recommend them. They're by far the comfiest pair that I own and fit like a glove.

This white shirt from COS is one that I've been hurriedly washing and drying just so that I can wear it again. It goes with just about everything; especially these high waisted GAP shorts that I nabbed from the £1 rail in a local charity shop. I've been thoroughly against baring my legs all summer, but the recent heatwave eventually made me buckle. I'm really pleased with them though - even if the beige is a little unflattering against my ghostly pins.

I also finally updated my beloved Birkenstocks this month. This time I went for the Rio style as I don't think I've owned a pair with an ankle strap before. They're pretty much the most comfortable things to ever grace my feet and, as expected, I've been wearing them religiously ever since - alongside these H&M cross sandals that I bought on sale and can no longer find a link for. Both are probably controversial choices, but I love them. If they look like something Jesus would wear then I'm pretty much all for it.
