Everyday Makeup #7

To begin my base I reached for the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. My skin has been hell'a bad lately and this is it's only saviour - surprisingly it's one of the few foundations I own that doesn't cling to dry patches, either. Benefit Erase Paste was then dabbed over any scars and blemishes as well as under my eyes. I also resurrected my Soap & Glory Trick and Treatment concealer in a desperate bid to cover my dark circles; a freezing cold flat and a boyfriend with the flu fails to equal a good nights sleep! My cheeks were warmed up with the Max Factor Creamy Blush in Soft Pink and the Seventeen Shimmer Brick in Pink Bronze.

For the eyes, I returned to my trusty Heavy & Earth Palette by MUA. This has been sitting at the back of my makeup drawer for months now but I'm so glad I dug it out again; it's one of my favourite palettes to play around with and the neutral tones all compliment each other so well. I then pushed the shade 'Crave' from my Naked Basics palette along my upper lashline using a fine, angled brush. I'm not the best at liquid liner (more on that to come later in the month...) but I love the finish of a powder anyway, it leaves me with a much softer look to be worn everyday. A couple of coats of the Clinique High Impact Mascara and I was good to go!

I finished up on the lips with a slick of MAC's Rose Maiden, topped off with the Korres Lip Butter in Quince. The two compliment each other perfectly and I can't wait to get going on a full review of the Korres balms - so far, so impressed.
