Review | Bumble & Bumble Hair (un)Dressing Creme

I've definitely been feeling the love for Bumble and Bumble lately. With a host of products that do exactly what they say on the tin, they're my go-to brand when I'm after an undone, dishevelled look that doesn't leave my hair begging for mercy at the end of it all. I've tried a lot of texturising creams/pastes in the past (and I mean a lot) but none of them have come close to their B&B counterpart. Branded as a 'hair (un)dressing creme', this stuff promises to define the layers in the hair and leave behind a rough, mattified finish whilst still providing extra volume and lift. My main issue with products like this tend to be that they weigh my fine hair down, but this certainly doesn't. Instead of looking limp and lifeless, my roots are lifted and defined; giving me that big hair look I so crave.

Naturally I'm far from blessed with thick, tousled locks. When I step out of the shower and leave my hair to dry naturally I'm left with an (almost) poker straight 'do that sits flat against my scalp and is far too soft and fine to do anything spectacular with. I've now gotten into the habit of warming a pea-sized amount of this up in my palms and spreading it throughout my hair, roughing it up with my fingertips as I go. Instantly my hair is given a new lease of life and has texture that holds without the need for copious amounts of backcombing and half a can of hairspray. I would definitely recommend working this through the lengths of the hair as quickly as possible as it can make things a little sticky if too much is applied to one specific area, but that really is my only gripe - and even then I'm being picky. I really can't sing the praises of this enough, my love affair with Bumble and Bumble is cemented for the foreseeable future!
