Review | OPI 'Call Me Gwen-Ever'

Finally the time has come for the brighter, more summery polish shades in my collection to start adorning my nails. 'Call Me Gwen-Ever' was launched within OPI's Spiderman collection and its become a firm favourite of mine over the past few months. It sits somewhere between a coral, a red and an orange and ends up being none of them but all of them at once.

I adore the formula of OPI polishes and this is just as easy to apply as any other. Two thin coats provides a pretty much opaque finish, although I will probably try three next time just for that extra pop of colour. Obviously lasting time depends entirely on the individual wearing it, but for me OPI's polishes are always pretty reliable and I've had this on my talons for almost a week now with minimal chipping. I'm a massive fan of classic red polishes but actually have very few shades in my collection, so this ends up being picked from the bunch regularly and I really don't own many other shades that are similar (Barry M Nail Paint in 'Coral' is a pretty close dupe though!)

I love this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, go-to summer shade. I'd love to know some of your favourite polishes for summer, too!
