Enrapture Totem Styler - £69.99
Over the past year or so this little hair styling gem has turned into one of those products that you'd have to be living under a rock to have not heard of. The Enrapture Totem Styler is something I'd had my eyes on for a while and I finally got my paws on it last month when someone kindly ticked it off my Christmas list. The styler is unique in that it has three separate sections; each of which you can control using the coded heat system. I've had loads of fun playing around with this since I got it and I've found that the code I enjoy using most is 1-1-2; a subtle, loose wave at the top that gets a little more defined towards the ends of my hair.
To use the tool, I take my hair in sections about an inch thick and use the clip to wrap my hair around the tong. After holding in place for roughly 10 seconds I release the clip and that's pretty much it! I'm not a fan of overly 'done' hair so I tend to leave the curls to cool while I do my make up and then gently comb them through to give more of a rough, just rolled out of bed feel. I backcomb the roots and if I want them to stay in place really well I spritz with a little hairspray, although I don't always do this step. Overall I'm really happy with this and it's definitely living up to the hype so far. I'm used to creating waves in my hair using GHD's so I'm still getting used to using this kind of tool but with practise I definitely feel like I'll be able to create my perfect look. My waves are long lasting when using this and I love how much control it gives you; allowing you to achieve exact kind of finish you're looking for.
I'm thinking of maybe doing some kind of proper tutorial on how I personally use this when I have the time so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in!
