Quick Fixes for Tired, Weather Beaten Skin

This Works In Transit Camera Close Up

This stuff works brilliantly at adding a soft luminosity to the skin while still keeping things balanced and hydrated. A pea-sized amount used alone or mixed in with a moisturiser makes the world of difference when my skin is looking dull and lacklustre, brightening up the complexion and creating a smooth canvas for the application of makeup.

Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate*

Facial oils are probably the quickest, most effective way to inject life into dull skin. The Kiehl's Daily Concentrate is blended with ginger, sunflower and tamanu oils that promise to visibly balance the effects of skin fatigue. It's lightweight enough to be worn underneath makeup, but packs enough hydration to see you through the day.

Embryolisse Radiant Eye*

Whenever I'm feeling unwell, it's my eyes that are certain to give the game away first. The Embryolisse eye cream comes packaged in a handy little dome that, when applied gently to the eye area, really helps to soothe and cool the skin. In turn, my eyes are visibly less puffy and irritated.

Dr PawPaw Original Balm

A do-it-all cure for dry skin, this is what I reach for whenever I hit that post-cold, flaky stage. The area around the nose is a particular giveaway, so applying a thin layer of this before makeup helps to prevent any tell-tale signs, especially when I'm in need of a little more concealer than usual.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm*

As someone blessed with dry, cracked lips all year round, it isn't just in the winter that this Nuxe balm has become a staple. It's probably the most nourishing balm that I own and offers the additional benefit of subtle exfoliation to rid the lips of dry skin.
