I've spoken about NARS Sheer Glow so many times before that I feel it would only bore you to hear about it again. Let's just say I can't believe I spent so long putting off the purchase. New to my makeup bag is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer; another product that really doesn't need any introduction, but one that I'm currently sitting on the fence with. Deemed by many as the ultimate concealer, it hasn't been sitting as well on my dry skin as I hoped it would and so far has a tendency to cake and crease throughout the day. I'm still in my first week with this one though, so expect a few more in depth thoughts once I've given it a proper go!
A new product that has really caught my eye is the Max Factor Creme Puff blusher. I have the shade 'Nude Mauve' and I'm kind of head over heels for it already. It blends like a dream to leave a fresh, subtle glow on the skin with just a hint of colour. Matched with a dusting of my beloved theBalm Bahama Mama bronzer and I'm pretty much set complexion wise.
My brows have been getting filled in using the Eye of Horus Brow Define*. This is the first retractable brow pencil I've tried and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. It does take a little getting used to as the pencil is fairly pigmented, but so far so good. At a similar price mark to the Anastasia Brow Wiz it would be really interesting to see how the two compare. For lashes it's been the L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara. Admittedly I'm used to a little more volume than this gives, but it's pretty wicked at giving length and separation all the same. I'm not sure that it will become a must have for me, but I'm keen to give the waterproof version a try to see how that compares. For lips, I'm still smitten with MAC Twig, transforming into the perfect everyday matte when blotted down a little.
