Why Nars Sheer Glow Is Worth The Hype

Nars Sheer Glow has been recommended to me on so many occasions now, mainly on account of my struggle to find a fuller coverage base that sits well with my dry skin. Having exhausted every other avenue and struggling to find a suitable alternative at a high street price, I eventually caved and picked up the shade Gobi.

Sheer Glow is a lovely foundation - something that I'm sure you don't need to read this post to find out. It offers a healthy medium coverage, hides redness and blemishes with ease and lasts better throughout the day than any other base in my collection. All of that is wicked, but my real reason for falling for the hype is how gentle it feels on my sensitive skin. Any foundation that promises skincare benefits (let alone long term ones) tend to get a bit of a raised eyebrow from me and I'm not entirely sure that all of the bold claims made by NARS are true even on this one. Even so, it's one of the very few foundations I've found that doesn't clog, cling to or irritate my skin.  Sheer Glow is completely non-fragranced, which again is really important to me but difficult to find in many formulas. It glides over dry patches, evens my skin tone and doesn't lead to any blemishes even with consistent use; I couldn't ask for more.
