More Than Just Beauty Sleep

If there's one thing in life that I'm darn good at, it's snoozing. I can usually sleep for record lengths of time, managing to doze off anywhere and everywhere if the mood is right. Over the past few weeks however I've been having the hardest time drifting off. It's something that's no doubt at least partially down to my new BFF; stress - and suddenly I've become all the more aware of the benefits that having a proper rest can bring. The age old debate over just how many hours of beauty sleep we should be getting per night trawls on, but there really are more benefits to catching some zzz's than the promise of waking up feeling a little more refreshed. My concentration levels have hit rock bottom and I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been having some pretty rotten mood swings for the first time in my life (to everyone that has to deal with me on a daily basis, I sincerely apologise).

I'd love to hear some of your tips for getting a good nights sleep (bubble baths are, for the moment, unfortunately out of the question). It really does only take a few sleepless nights to make you realise just how important snoozing is, so any help would be so well appreciated! Now, where are my PJ's...
