Ciaté describe this as the perfect colour for date nights and I have to agree. It's a sexy, vampy red that screams autumn and looks great against fairer skin tones. Burgundy is a nail polish shade that I own a fair few of, but I've always struggled to find a truly deep red that doesn't transfer as black on the nails. This is opaque in just two coats which I think makes all the difference; so often you end up having to layer darker shades so much that they just lose all dimension and it ends up being difficult to detect any colour. The finish is incredibly glossy (I topped it off with a coat of Seche Vite as usual) and like most of the Ciaté polishes I've tried the wear time is fairly good. I'm currently hunting down some sort of red-based glitter to layer over this during the festive season so if you have any recommendations let me know!
